"Inigo shows great promise with this first offering off his own new label. I really grabbed this for the one track that tweaks the fuck out of the EQ realm, a-la-bicknell. It's so extreme you sort of just need to let the thing do its own EQ tricks if you're used to doing your own. And each time the loop kicks in full force, I get this global apocalyptic feeling. I imagine this track being played in a huge space with thousands of people. It's a massive sound. this track also goes to show you how much information can be sucked out of a sound - how much is there, and what we can do with it. this track is basically one loop going over and over again (with a few backward edits and increases in resonance thrown in for good measure), but it's constantly changing because there's some sick parametric EQ going on. you know this shit was done on a computer! :) the other tracks represent inigo's talent in creating truly unique soundscapes." "Been holding off on comenting on this one. I really wanted to hear it out first before I mentioned it. I am still iffy on some of the experimental tracks on this release. Being such a die hard collector of IK's work, this was one of the first releases I was sort of having a hard time with when I first gave it a listen. Mr Brown dropped the harder pounding track out the other night, sounded pretty damn awesome....Nice effects that filter in and out while the beats drive for one minute and pause and kick back in some more....I think I'm going to have to chalk this one up to some more really innovative work from Inigo....Although I'm still having a hard time with the other experimental tracks, but that goes the same for the whole UK posse...but it might catch up to me soon..."
