"An excellent doublepack of hard, funky stuff from a fairly unknown producer. A1 goes for the jugular with chunky beats, tangled percussion and menacing synth drone. A2 has straighter beats and a mad collision of reflective melody and straight up dronoshriek. Flip it for B1's 'French Kiss' style groove, drowned by clomping percussion. It's dark, but there is some humour, especially on the syncopated groove of D1's analogue squeeks, claps and hi hats. It makes this guy a contender. The Gauntlet? Consider it thrown down."
