"The third 'Deck Shark' collection carries Speaker Attack's global groove ethos ever onwards enlisting eight far-flung acts from the current pool of techno producers. With established names ably joining relative unknowns, there's plenty to please DJs foraging for functional club workouts. Particularly worth checking are the deeper, more structured offerings from Rino Cerrone and newcomer Chris Doria, a hard-hitting contribution from Japan's Chester Beatty, plus altogether funkier cuts from Inigo Kennedy and Joel Pons. Loops for the troops, but plenty for both feet and floor." Overload Media |

"The 12th release of the Swiss label Speaker Attack is a compilation done by 8 international producers. Totally dedicated to the dancefloor, this 2x12" starts with two pumpin' n drivin' tracks by Chester Beatty (Japan) and Mark Broom (UK). On the B side, Rino Cerrone (Italy), as good as usual, gives a more tech' house track than usual whereas Chris Doria (USA) chooses a tribal style. On the other EP, sound is getting more hypnotising with Inigo Kennedy (UK) and more phat and percussive with the Japanese duet Oka & Yamazaki. At last, Aliena (Slovenia) goes in a house way and Joel Pons (Spain) ends the record with a minimal techno title with chopped rhythm... Just check it !!" Overload Media |
